” If funding mattered, halloween costumes wouldn’t come in adult sizes. If funding mattered, Bendy straws would stay straight. If funding mattered, electric guitars wouldn’t be electric. If funding mattered, no food would be served on a stick, & if funding mattered, parachutes would only be used for emergencies.

The difference is whether we have the ability to choose if we want to wear costumes or not. It would be different if the government mandated that they cost so much that we can no longer afford it.
