Chlorine makes your hair go green, so it doesn’t matter what you use to bleach it. Just rinse your hair with fresh water after you swim and it should be fine
The dye isn’t the issue. Chlorine makes it green. To get the chlorine out you need to use special shampoo that’s designed to get it out. The brand I’m familiar with is Ultra Swim.
Nope - even naturally blond hair turns green from the chlorine. The best thing you can do is get it thoroughly wet before you go in with water and wash it as soon as you get out.
If it does go green on you, the best thing I have found is to make a baking soda paste. Leave it on for about 5 minutes and it takes the green out.
one of the best tips I was told for blonde hair in the pool is to comb in a leave in conditioner before you jump in. You can also thoroughly wet it so it absorbs clean water, instead of chlorine water.
Jumping in the showers at the pool before getting in used to be standard practice. this reduces the amount of chlorine you get absorbed into your skin and hair, as well as getting some of the dirt and germs off of your body before you put it in the pool.
the link below gives some more ideas, and links you to hair products that are supposed to help. ^_^ happy swimming!
