Chrissy B asked:

Hey, I’m going to post a link to the bedding I have and I would like some suggestions for paint colors that I could paint my bedroom to coordinate with my set. Feel free to recommend girly colors since I don’t share my room with my boyfriend or anything. I’m leaning away from green because I have the bedding and matching curtains and valance (yes, I am that cheeseball who likes matching stuff) so that would be overkill. I have the duvet not the comforter so there are no ruffles on it, but this is the only pic I can find online. And I have the same sheets as well. Here’s a link. http://www.lnt.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2127442cpsr=1origkw=penelopekw=penelopeparentPage=search
I didn’t add this before, but this is my bed (I got it somewhere else) and this is the finish it’s in (antique bronze). So, does that impact your color suggestion or no? Thanks. http://www.shop.com/op/~Wesley_Allen:_Andover_Bed_by_Wesley_Allen-prod-29065517

A very light sort of shell pink would be nice. I love pink and sage green together.

WHITE.

EVERY room in the house should be painted white.

Pale pink or cream. If you go for pale pink, try to find a bit on the bedding that you want to copy and see if someone can do a colour analysis on it to enable it to be reproduced as a paint. I know Dulux do this in the UK but I dont know how large a section they need to scan to get the colour match.

If you go for cream, go towards the slightly stony creams as that seems to be the tone of the cream used in your bedding. Its certainly not a yellow cream.

I love decorating!!!!! If you want to really get into it try putting up a chair rail - you know what I mean - about 3 or so feet up the wall, it goes around the entire room like molding wood, you can get it at any builder’s store, Home Depot, Menard’s, etc……anyway, then paint the top half a mossy rose color and the bottom white or vice versa….paint the chair rail white before you put it up….it will look very feminine and classy…have fun!

Use the lightest pink from the bedspread and then lots of white..white molding, white furniture, lamps, etc.
