Mr SmoothHead asked:

Is it going to be “wintery” in Green Bay Sunday?

If so, which team will it favor? Packers or the Giants?

I’ve heard temp predictions ranging from 5 to 11 degrees. It’s going to be a COLD one. I think the Packers handle it better.

I am sure it will be worthless weather. Look how far north it is- tundra man!

Packers

ok they are saying game time temps to be 10 degrees dam cold. I think it favors the pack as they are all use to the conditions at lambeau

In January? Uh, the chances are good…

weather.yahoo.com will let you get the forecast for any US city.

Well right now the weather guessers are saying 5-10 degrees at game time. With snow showers, however, they said at most 1 inch of snow last week and we say the results of that. I say the Packers will be favored because of home field, but by how much etc, I have no idea.

Its going to be bloody cold compared to UK temperatures - my guess is the Giants will do better in cold conditions

Packer04 on 6 November, 2008 at 12:29 pm #

I heard 20 below zero with 16 inches of snow

Giants play in the Northeast so weather shouldnt really be a factor has much has playing at Lambeau Field thats the X-Factor for the Packers

the Giants have the big backs it’ll take to run in the snow .

captainspalding3 on 8 November, 2008 at 11:54 am #

The Giants have a better offensive line.
The Giants have a better running game and more depth at running back.
The Giants have a better run defense.

Seattle lost because their best running back is a broken down, 35 year old.

It is reall going to be really cold around 11 degrees with snow. Green Bay has developed a good running game which is better then the Giants. Therefore, I think it favors Green Bay.

On the way in to work, I heard the radio forecast say that the high would be 11 degrees, and 40% chance of snow.
The game kicks off at 5:30 p.m. local time, so I’m sure the night time temps will be single digits. Brrr!
