At the supermarket or in an auto store you can buy a bottle of fuel injection cleaner which is poured into your gas tank. Try the STP fuel injection cleaner in the black plastic bottle. It costs a little more but is better than the cheap no name stuff. Maybe $5.00 around there. It works great and really helps clean the sludge out of the injectors. One bottle per the full tank of gas should do it. You will notice better performance by the time the gas tank goes down to half. Wait to add more gas until the tank is almost empty to make sure the full strength injector cleaner is run through he motor. This injector cleaner should only need to be added about 2 or 3 times per year.

make sure you have a bad injector first by unpluging each one and seeing if it makes a change in idle speed, if you do notice a change swap out the bad one ,it’s rare that the problem solvers in a can ever work !

Lucas Injector Cleaner is what I have used and been told is the best. I use it every other time of filling my tank just to keep everything clean.
