My vehical ran out of gas a few times and i started to encounter a stalling out problem and simply stopped driving it as i had to be towed twice. So its my belief that sediment from the gastank was ****** past the filters and into the injectors. Can this be cleaned or am i looking to do some repair or replacement of items.? if it can be cleaned would this be by forced air pressure or some solvent to dislodge the blocking particals and if such exists any recomendations of something that really works?

I am trying to clean a ceiling for a friend. My friend uses fuel oil to heat the house to save money. Unfortunately, fuel oil leaves a residue on the ceilings and walls that is very difficult to clean off. What cleanser works the best to wash it off? I am willing to use gasoline to clean it but he thinks that is too extreme. I have tried using soaps, rubbing alcohol, and bleach with little success.

I heard that if you add transmission fluid to your fuel injectors, that it is bettter than any fuel injector cleaner; is this ture?

Has anyboby used this method and has any information about it - how much fluid, how much to add to the fuel tank, advantages/disadvantages of using this transmission fluid, etc, etc.

I have a 93 Nissan Altima. I have read different things about this. One site says do in place cleaning using a solvent another site say to remove them then clean them in a special machine. The final site says to just replace them. I go to two mechanics that we trust. We were going to get a new fuel injector but the it started working after I gunned the car. This normal mechanic told me not replace (He already ordered the part). He said since it working you do not need to replace them.

This other mechanic I go to. Say he does fuel injector cleaning by flushing ethanol through the injectors. They do disconnect the fuel line. It take them about 20 minutes.

Since my first mechanic said not to replace them. Should I have them cleaned or not?

02 Suzuki DF 140 with very little hrs. like new, sat for 2 years now it wont run. I have narrowed the problem down to 2 possibilities. Either a varnished fuel pump or varnished up injectors. Its simply not getting gas to the intake. Any suggestions???

I have several cars that were neglected for about 4 years. They had full tanks of gas when they were parked and the gas isn’t really even gas anymore. Two are newer model Cadillacs and I can’t get them started. I’ve drained the tanks and cleaned as much as I could but know nothing about fuel injectors (I was able to get ones with carburators running fine)

Will that help the fuel? It’s been sitting since summer, but I added stabilizer in it, not sure why it wouldn’t be good. Could I add a little fuel system cleaner/ octane booster to it to get it going?

thanks
